My cubmaster files are organized in four components:

1. A 2-inch binder with the day-to-day materials, including Cub Leader Book, program helps, program plan, and roster.

2. A bookshelf stocked with scout books, pamphlets, and pow-wow books.

3. A single file drawer for the reams of paper I collect on various topics. My current file plan is included at the bottom of this message. (I had to stare at my 2 foot pile of scout paper for six months before I could figure it out.) ;-)

4. A growing collection of boxes in the basement containing ceremony props, uniform parts, excess badges, and derby car kits, etc.

I've determined that much is the scouting program is cyclical and therefore finite and manageable. The amount of resource material available to cub leaders (and the amount of paper I collect) never ceases to amaze me. Hope this is helpful...
