It is also home to some of the BEST Scouts and Leaders in the South Florida Council!

Lighthouse District serves the great Broward cities of Coconut Creek, Coral Springs, Deerfield Beach, Hillsboro Beach, Lauderdale by the Sea, Lauderdale Lakes, Lauderhill, Lighthouse Point, Margate, North Lauderdale, Oakland Park, Parkland, Pompano Beach, Sea Ranch Lakes and Tamarac.
The District comprises the area of Northern Broward County north of Oakland Park Boulevard; bordered to the east by the Ocean, to the west by the Conservation Areas and to the north by the Broward/Palm Beach County Line.
This is the "Official" Lighthouse District Web presence or at least as official as it can be considering the current BSA policy on the Web. It has been reviewed and is continually monitored by District Key Three leadership as well as many other District leaders. Any information relating to the District herein shall be the same as any other printed material supplied to you but converted to electronic format for presentation and dissemination on the WWW. We will do our best to keep it as up to date as possible and as error free as possible. Any and all comments or questions are welcomed.Anyone wishing to add information to these pages should feel free to forward them on to me via email or fax and we will gladly add your material as soon as possible. The Scout Oath and Law will govern the addition of any materials added to the pages. I will defer to Council and District guidelines and/or wishes regarding any material of a questionable nature.
