Katie Collier Katie was a breath of fresh air to a dying troop, yet a little at odds with joining a group of girls who had been together as long as we had. Yet she came in and with her charm and style immediately won us over.

Her exuberance and enthusiasm is what I remember most. She wanted to go, and to do, and to learn what she had missed in scouting for the years she wasn't in it. She gave us the reminder that despite all we knew, there was always more to learn.

She touched us all and made us see the fun we were missing.

Yet this source of life, was taken from us at only sixteen, a tragic car wreck, and she was gone.

May you rest now in a better place Katie, and may you learn all you seek for there.
