James Avery Sadler Greene

My son who was a first class scout and who died March 24, 1996 of an infection.

 He was an avid scout who loved the program and loved serving others. He would rather spend the holidays serving the homeless hot meals then being a normal kid enjoying the break from school.

 James exemplified the meaning of scouting and made me proud to be his dad.

 He is home with Jesus now and I will never forget the time we had together and will continue in Scouting as a Commissioner in his honor.

 James was born on September 17, 1982 and he was dedicated to helping others in his troop make the best of scouting, and all it has to offer.

May he rest in peace. I am fighting back the tears in writing about my son so please understand, I am not through this yet.
