Scott Dooley

 In 1990 Troop 304 of Sunbury PA was camping at Camp Karoondinha, near Lauralton PA. The camp is owned by Susquehanna Council. In the early morning hours another scout went to the Scoutmaster saying something was wrong with Scott Dooley a 14-15 year old Scout. The Scout was having a reaction to mosquito bites.

The Life Flight helicopter was summoned from Geisinger Medical Center but Scott had died by the time it got there. The Scoutmaster at the time Mr. Bill Dill formed a Dooley memorial Committee and over $6000.00 was donated in Scotts name to renovate the Camps Chapel. The Chapel was rededicated as the Scott Dooley Memorial Chapel in 1992 or 93.
