Member of Scout Troop 47 St. Stephen's Catholic Community

This is in Memory of our Loving SON

Aaron was a Life Scout who had earned 43 merit badges.  The only thing he needed for Eagle was his service project, which he was going to work on after summer camp was over.  He was a staff member at Camp Boxwell (water front) Middle Tennessee Council.

He put his project on hold to help the younger scouts in the troop advance and to work on camp staff. His love for scouting showed in everything he did.  He believed in the Scout Oath and Law and lived by them each and every day of his young life. Aaron had just sealed his membership in the Order of the Arrow going through his Brotherhood in June of 1999.

Aaron was active in the Mt. Juliet High School FFA chapter and was selected as Jr. President for the 99-2000 school year.  He received the  Star Green Hand award and other awards.  He was also active in the Wilson County Fair Youth Board and a member of the Alliance for Native American Indian Rights.

Aaron died at Camp Boxwell Scout Reservation on July 22, 1999 in a accident.  He was 15 years and 20 days old. We will all miss him and that big smile of his.  His Indian name fits him well; Soaring Hawk.

Aaron's love and memory will live on in all that knew him.

On Sept. 21, 1999 the Spirit of the Eagle Award was awarded to us.

Aaron our dear son we LOVE YOU and miss you so very much.

Love you Mom, Dad & Brandon
